In official records, e.g. birth, death, etc. I would like to link to Individual, Place, and Source at the same time.
The "Create Link" drop down box doesn't seem to allow for multiple selections. Is there any way around this limitation?
Thanks

Re: Media "Create Link" question
No, unfortunatley the Links tab in the Media Window allows only one link at a time to be created.
However, rather than linking the image of a birth/marriage/death record to several other types of record, the more usual approach is to link the image just once to a Source record. The Source record itself can then be cited against several different facts, such as the birth event, the parents' names, the father's occupation.... The image can then be shown just once in reports (in the Sources section). Images linked direct to an individual are normally just photographs of the individual, not documents.

Yes, see glossary:sources|> Source Records and in particular the Sources and Citations - how to use them advice.
Also be aware that where you link Source records and Media records has significant consequences on the contents of Reports and Diagrams. So before committing to a particular strategy, check how they will appear, or don't appear, in particular Report types and Diagram types.

Thank you, that is really helpful.
It's also great that I can create source records as I view media.
So much to learn! But great software.
