Records Window From Year To Year filters
In the Filter: in the Records Window, what Dates are the Year Filters looking at? Is it the Update Date or?

On the Individuals and Families tabs it looks at life dates and selects anyone who was or might have been alive during the period. Note that under Options you can choose whether to Use Estimated Dates and/or Exclude Undated.
On the Media tab it selects any Media whose date fall within the period.
