Display Family Record ID in Focus Window

The Family Record ID is in the property box, ALL tab, but is not as openly visible there. LFT and TNG both display the Family Record ID on the their Person/Indvidual/~Focus Window pages. While the Person Record ID display can be set in preference options, I don't see a way to display the Family Record ID in the Focus Window. Is there a plugin to do this? Or is the only recourse using the Index? I often have TNG and FH side by side and would be handy for the Family Record ID visible on the Focus Window. Could be in the Marriage row perhaps?

I don't think the Family Record ID can be displayed in the Focus Window but if you click on the Married line in the Focus Window that will open the Property Box for the Family Record, where the ID will be shown at the end of the Record name at the top.

FYI: Plugins cannot alter anything in any of the FH user dialogues, except that they can produce a Query Window Result Set.
My Quick Family Facts Plugin offers a variant of the Focus Window but in hindsight does not include Record ID so I have been contemplating adding those and could include both Individual and Family records.

Thanks Lorna, I didn't notice it there since I had the
property box reduced to the right side. That is helpful indeed. On my larger monitor, with slight expansion or undocking, that will be quite visible by simply clicking on the
focus window's marriage row.

Perhaps I will suggest it to Calico Pie as an enhancement then.

That would be helpful for other uses of the central facts, but for would still involve extra steps of calling the plugin, and then selecting a record.
Lorna's suggestion though will suffice for my needs.

You can customise the Family record Property Box Caption to place the Record ID first instead of last so it shows even on your smaller monitor. See Tools > Preferences > Property Box > Captions > Family.
The idea behind the Plugin, that you may have overlooked, is that the key person has usually already been selected or is already the Focus of the Focus Window, and by adding the Quick Family Facts to the Tools menu it can invoked with the keyboard shortcut Alt T Q. Furthermore, clicking on anyone in the Plugin dialogue will make them the Root Person. Plus the option at the bottom allows different levels of detail to be displayed, and its window floats and can be resized & repositioned unlike the Focus Window pane.

Mike,
As always...you're the FH guru.
You can customise the Family record Property Box Caption to place the Record ID first instead of last so it shows even on your smaller monitor. See Tools > Preferences > Property Box > Captions > Family.
Excellent! Much more visible on small screen. Also,
property box individual caption adjusted with
Record ID first as well.
I will experiment with your plugin as well, with many yet to be used features. Gee, maybe putting
Record ID's in the
QFF plugin would be desirable. The shortcut key is very quick indeed.
Thanks!
