Delete an individual record

Post by jcgray » 07 Apr 2017 18:15

I have accumulated a number of redundant records in error recenlty which I would like to delete. I have looked at the Split Tree Helper, but cannot see any box in which I can enter a name or record number as the target.
Is any one able to enlighten me as to how to do this ? or should I be trying another approach to the task ?
Any help will be much appreciated.

Jonathan, first a bit of housekeeping.
Please update your FH version in your Profile shown to the right of your posting.
Left-click your username jcgray top right, choose Profile, and then Edit profile.
Select your Family Historian Version from drop-list, then scroll down to click Submit.

See how_to:delete_a_large_number_of_records|> Delete Any Number of Records.

If you want to delete Individual records one at a time, just left-click the person's box in the Focus window, then right-click and select Delete.

You can also go into the Records window, click the person that you want to delete and then hit "delete" on your keyboard.
