FH Charts and upgrade

Hello,
Apologies if this has been answered before, but I can't find it anywhere.
I am considering upgrading to V6 from V3 (finally!)
I have at least 20 one-name files, each with numerous Saved FH Charts with icons/flags/colour codes, etc.
Will the upgrade delete these? I can only find info about transferring to a new computer, not to the new update.
Thanks
joldies

As with most programs, simply installing a later version should inherit all your data.
See how_to:about|> About Family Historian How To Upgrade.
Take note of the advice about customised Standard Text Schemes and default Diagram formats, because they are stored in the Windows Registry.
But nothing is guaranteed, so it would be wise to make backups.
Backup all your Gedcom files, Media files, and any customised Reports and Diagrams and Icons.
The latter are stored in the glossary:family_historian_program_data_folder|> Family Historian Program Data Folder.
BTW: Did you notice that FH V6 will NOT install into Windows XP.
Also be prepared for a significant learning curve, because many new features have been added.
See how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers in particular Project Structure & Location and Plugins.

Thank you.
I had a vague idea that when I upgraded to v3, some saved diagrams disappeared, but it's a long time ago.
Thanks for the links; I obviously have a lot more reading to do!
