I find that I have somehow created two family records (IDs 50 and 93), which are identical. Can you tell me how to delete one record, without affecting the other one?
Thanks, Diane

Re: Family record
Diane,
In the records window select the Families tab. If you don't currently see the Families tab, go to Tools > Preferences > Records Window and for Families: select Always show.
Then on the Families tab, select the family you want to delete and hit the delete key.
You want to be very careful that you are not going to lose any information that you want to keep.

Bill,
Thanks for that. It worked and I haven't lost anything that I wanted to keep. I didn't realise it was as simple as hitting the delete key!!

Believe me... you are not the first.
You can also highlight the entry and select Edit > Delete from the toolbar.
