I have just bought a year of data access from My Heritage and it works beautifully on my desktop PC. Then I would try it out in the living room on my laptop as both I and my wife use. I logged in on My Heritage and got full access but when i opened FH i couldn't get access to MH inside FH and it said I had to buy a data subscription. And when I pushed the button BUY it was with my wifes name and email already filled in. Apparently my wife was the last person logged on MH on the laptop. I uninstalled MH and reinstalled it again - didn't help.
How can I get FH to use my MH account on the laptop also?
Kind regards Klaus Yde - Denmark

Re: My heritage data subscription
There is useful advice in how_to:internet_data_matches|> Internet Data Matches.
Importantly, you need to have the same User Credentials on both PC.
Also take note about which browser to use for logging in to MyHeritage. FH always uses Internet Explorer.
In FH when you get to the Web Search Window with MyHeritage Smart Matches you may have to scroll the window horizontally to reveal the Log in link top right. The same link is available on the subscription page too, but you must scroll to reveal top right corner of web page.
Alternatively, change the Internet > Internet Data Matches > Location to Display Matches to External Web Browser to use your preferred browser outside FH.

I assume you are just referring to MyHeritage, as I access Findmypast via Firefox!

Check the advice in how_to:internet_data_matches|> Internet Data Matches.
Exactly the same concepts apply to FindMyPast as for MyHeritage.
ALL programs with an embedded browser window like the Web Search Window in FH can only use Internet Explorer.
Externally you can login to FindMyPast or MyHeritage with any browser you like, but even if you tick Remember me, that has no impact on the Web Search Window in FH in which you must login quite independently.
