BMD & Census Icons under boxes in diagrams

At the moment I have my diagram set up to show the above icons under the boxes, I don't want them to show for this particular diagram, but, I don't want to lose the conditions incase I want to use them again. If I go into each one and untick the icon box in 'Edit Features' will this preserve the condition and just get rid of the icon? I don't want to experiment as they took me ages to set up with lots of help from this forum.

A better solution is to use Diagram > Save Diagram As > Custom Diagram Type and give it a suitable Custom Diagram Name.
In future you use that via View > Custom Diagram Types and choose that Custom Diagram Name.
Now open a standard Diagram and customise it however you like in the knowledge that your Conditions are preserved in the custom diagram, which is exactly what they are for. You can have as many different custom diagrams for all manner of diagram styles.
If you want one of those custom diagrams to be your default Diagram settings, then View that custom diagram and use Diagram > Settings > Save As Default Settings.

I asked a similar question some time ago - this thread might be of some interest to the OP:
Toggling icons (12828)
[COMMENT by Mike Tate: That only applies to
Flag Conditions and NOT
Expression Conditions, which sound like Margaret is using as she said they took ages to set up.]

Thank you Mike, that worked beautifully.

Thank you William, that thread made interesting reading, FH is so versatile I've only just scratched the surface and I'm sure that I don't make use of half the features.
