Media window
Hello, Following Mike's instructions supplied to me some time ago and using the two plugins for finding duplicate media and fixing links I have reorganized my media. Really pleased, thanks Mike and the plugin makers. There is just one thing which I am probably doing wrong. When I enter the photos I get my folders up where to enter the photos just what I wanted. However, when I just bring up the media window all the media are listed in no particular order, is it possible for the items to be displayed either in the folders in which they are placed or a full list as per folders? Thank you Ann

Re: Media window
Although you have (sensibly) organised your media files into sub-folders this arrangement applies only to the media files themselves. These files are linked to corresponding media Records in FH. These records are not themsleves arranged into folders.
However if you use Tools>External File Links you will find that they are listed in groups according to their file path (the path to the corresponding media file) so you will see them appropriately grouped there.
The Media window, and the Media tab of the Records window, can both be sorted on any of their columns although in the case of the Media Window you will probably need to enlarge the left hand panel where they are listed, to expose extra columns. It is easier to see all columns on the Media tab of the Records Window. If you click on the heading of the File column the records will be sorted according to their file path. You may need to hold down the Alt key while clicking to sort, to reverse the sort order so that it matches the order in Tools>External File Links.
