Calendar Calculator

Post by Wahull1052 » 15 Sep 2016 00:54

It would be helpful if FH was able to check the day of the week on which a certain date fell; also the ability to calculate the elapsed time between two dates. These features were previously available in The Master Genealogist, but that software has been discontinued.

In what context do you want to be able to use these features?

FH does have the ablility to calculate days of the week, and to calculate timespans. You should be able to use the existing features of FH to achieve what you want.

Welcome to the FHUG Wahull1052.
I realise you are a newcomer, but please note the advice in Please Read Before Posting Wishes (6176) and don't post a New Wish List Request until other avenues have been exhausted.

As Lorna says, FH does have many Date support features, and one not mentioned is the DAY_OF_WEEK qualifier.

Also Wish List Ref 395 Calendar already exists for you to Vote on.

Therefore, I have moved this thread to the FH General Usage Forum for the time being.

As a newcomer, perhaps our how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers is worth studying.
