Re: Individual record list/columns
Welcome to the FHUG Ross.
Yes, in the Expression for the column use INDI.~SPOU>NAME without the :SURNAME qualifier.
To edit the columns, either right-click on any column header and choose Configure Columns, or use Lists > Configure Record Window Columns. Select the required Column on the right and click the Edit button.
Note that INDI.~SPOU>NAME will only show the name of 1st Spouse.
So to show 2nd Spouse create a column using INDI.~SPOU[2]>NAME and so on for subsequent spouses.
Or to list up to 4 spouses in one column use:
=CombineText(,%INDI.~SPOU>NAME%,CombineText(" , ",%INDI.~SPOU[2]>NAME%,CombineText(" , ",%INDI.~SPOU[3]>NAME%,CombineText(" , ",%INDI.~SPOU[4]>NAME%,,),),),)

Re: Individual record list/columns
Sorry, it seemed from your posting that you had already configured a custom column showing spouses's surname, and just wanted to adjust that to show full name.
Maybe you will find how_to:key_features_for_newcomers|> Key Features for Newcomers more useful than I first thought. Study all the topics, especially the Documentation & Tutorials to start with, and follow the links into our Knowledge Base. For example, an introduction to Records Window column customisation is in the Book: "Getting the Most From Family Historian 5" in Chapter 7 Browsing, Searching & Editing in the Records Window.
So here are the detailed steps to add Spouse Name columns:
Are you satisfied with that or would you prefer up to 4 spouse names to be listed side by side in one wide column?

- Open the Records Window by clicking on icon below magnifying glass on left margin.
- Right-click on any column header and choose Configure Columns, or use Lists > Configure Record Window Columns from menubar.
- Select <Other...> at bottom of Item list on the left and click > button in middle to Add Column.
- Enter column Heading as 1st Spouse.
- To set column Expression click <<Insert Data Ref and select Individual + Spouse + Name and click OK.
- The Expression should now say INDI.~SPOU[1]>NAME[1] i.e. Individual's 1st Spouse Primary Full Name.
- Click the Add button to add 1st Spouse to bottom of Columns list on right.
- Use the up & down arrows below to move it up or down, i.e. left or right through columns.
- Click OK and that column will appear in the Records Window.
Are you satisfied with that or would you prefer up to 4 spouse names to be listed side by side in one wide column?
