Once you have created a custom query you are able to name it and save it.

Where is this custom query actually saved - ie which directory

Thanks

When you use the Query Menu options New Custom Query or Save As Custom Query that gives it a file-name and saves it automatically in the folder C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Queries\Custom\.

C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\ is the glossary:family_historian_program_data_folder|> Family Historian Program Data Folder where many Standard and Custom settings are saved, such as Diagram Types, Report Types, Fact Types, Queries, Plugins, etc.

Hi Mike

Thank you for your response.

The Standard Queries are stored in my computer as follows C:\Program Files (x86)\Family Historian\Queries

I have thoroughly searched my copy of Family Historian and there is no "Custom" directory.

If it helps, I am running Windows 10.

Thanks

No, NOT C:\Program Files which is the installation folder (where Standard items can be retrieved as installed, but should NEVER be touched).

Checkout glossary:family_historian_program_data_folder|> Family Historian Program Data Folder that explains how to reveal the C:\ProgramData\ folder which is often Hidden, and is why I gave you that Knowledge Base link.
