Sorrry if this is already on the Wishlist; even more so if FH already implements.

Typing with my head down, I often make the annoying discovery that I'd earlier slipped into Caps Lock, so I'm now looking at a passage where what should have been in lowercase was in uppercase, and vice versa. bELIEVE ME, IT'S NOT THAT HARD TO DO. What I'd like is to be able to select some text, press Ctrl-T (or similar), and have FH put things right.

Roger, that is not so much an FH problem as a Windows problem and there are plenty of general purpose solutions.

The first is to make you more aware that the Caps Lock (Num Lock and Scroll Lock) key has been pressed.
Use the Ease of Access Centre and adjust its Keyboard settings to Turn on Toggle Keys which will produced an audible tone whenever those keys are used.

In Windows 10 use Start > Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard > Toggle Keys = On.

If despite that, if you still need to convert case, then see http://www.itdonut.co.uk/blog/2012/06/f ... talisation that suggest you copy the text to MS Word or a website such as https://convertcase.net/ and invert it there.

Also there are add-on utilities that will beep on keystrokes whenever the Caps Lock key is on, such as http://caps-lock.software.informer.com/4.2/, and I think they can also adjust the audible warning tone.

Sorry, Mike, it's very clear that you don't suffer from the problem as I do. TextPad (an excellent general-purpose text editor) has exactly this feature, and it's wonderful: spot the error and fix it in less than a second.

I know all about the general-purpose 'solutions' that you suggest; I have the tones turned on, but I still suffer. And if you think I can copy my erroneous text to another tool, transpose it, and copy it back in less than 20 seconds, think again.

Point is: the request is technically trivial -- Simon could probably design it in the time it's taking me to write this reply. And part of Simon's job is, I think, to be receptive to any idea, magnificent or trivial, that will enhance the user experience.
