* Focus Window does not remember last setting for Property Box

Hi Forum

I can't seem to get my Focus Workspace to remember the positions of the Focus Box and Floating Property Box

I'm sure I have the customizing settings correct. But every time I close the program or navigate to a quite different Workspace. Once I return to the Focus Box and Property Box the settings are changed again? Clicking 'Restore Down' solves this but is not ideal to have to do this each time.

Any thoughts welcome

Welcome to the FHUG David.
I have moved this to the FH General Usage Forum as it is not really an Importing question.

FH is unfortunately not as good as it could be at remembering the position and size of all windows, especially between different sessions. There have been improvements in recent versions, but it is not yet comprehensive.

Can you post a screen shot of your workspace property box settings, because they can be a bit fussy, but it only affects how the Property Box window is displayed.

There is Wish List Ref 534 Preserve all Workspace and Window Characteristics that you can vote for.

Many thanks for the update. Apologies for posting into the wrong topic area. I realised I had done this afterwards but could not find a way to change it. Here is the settings panel you requested.

Hi David, you don't need to insert the screenshot into a Word document, just attach the screenshot image directly.

Try clicking the Disable Property Box Management button to set None as the settings, and also unctick Open Workspace Windows Remember Property Box State. Then FH does not manage the Property Box and you are in full control.

When FH is initially opened, you must Restore Down the Focus Window and open the Property Box (double-click the white details box top left). But thereafter all Workspace windows that you open and the Property Box should appear where you left them. Unfortunately, FH does not remember which Workspace windows were open when you closed FH and open them automatically.
