Is it possible to delete keywords that are not used on the keyword list? My list is getting longer but wish to delete the ones I don't use?

The Keywords are only only on the droplist because they are used in at least one Media Record. Once removed from all Media, they are automatically removed from list.

So either search the Media tab of the Records Window or use a Query to find the specific Keywords and remove them.

Thanks for that, Mike, but what about the keywords like audio and video, which are on the original list and have not been used? Will they eventually drop off?

No, the four Standard Keywords of Audio, Document, Picture, Video cannot be removed.
