Printing a fan chart to pdf

Post by delwoodman » 19 May 2016 18:10

I am finding myself unable to save a fan chart as a pdf file, whether using the save as ...command or the print to pdf command. Printing other types of diagrams or reports is working fine but when I try the same procedure on a fan chart, the screen refreshes but I do not get the normal screen giving me options as to where to save the pdf file.

Is anyone else experiencing this and is there a workround? I last printed out some fan charts a few months ago and things were working well then.

I am using FH 6.2 and Windows 7.

Thanks

I have tried the Family Historian Sample Project with its default View > Fan Charts options and the Diagram > Save Diagram As > PDF File (.pdf) output works OK.

Can you repeat that experiment to see if that works or fails, on both the sample project and your project.

Please supply more details about the characteristics of your problem Fan Chart.

Thanks. All is working normally today. I can only think that I had too many programs running at once last evening.
