Woman marrying more than once

Hi everyone - Have just bought FH v6.2 and am struggling with names when a woman remarries. Can attach her to a second husband but cannot marry her under the first husbands surname without changing her surname on all her relationships. Is there please a way for her to marry first time under her maiden name and then second time under her widowed name ?
Thanks in advance

Whilst I can't answer your specific question, may I comment that it is customary to refer to married women by their maiden name, because this will never change, and is easier to manage datawise.
When I don't yet know her maiden name, e.g. I know John Smith's wife is Jane, I enter her as 'Jane SMITH Nee ??' until I can discover her maiden name, when I amend her surname as appropriate.

Mike is correct. The genealogy convention is that everyone is recorded with their Primary Name set to their Birth Name. So women are always recorded with their maiden name. Men are also recorded with their birth name even if changed later due to adoption or deedpoll, etc. See how_to:handle_people_with_multiple_names|> How to Handle People With Multiple Names.
I suspect your problem is more specifically to do with how people, especially multiple-married women, are identified in Narrative Reports. If so then there are a few workaround tricks.
It is a recurring scenario posted in these Forums. See
