Remove unwanted rectangle box from diagram

Post by susiewb » 27 Apr 2016 08:12

Hi, I have inserted a rectangle shape into a diagram and now no longer want it there. Could someone kindly tell me how I can remove this?

Thanks,
Susie

Select the box so that its 8 'handles' appear on its boundary, then hit your Delete key, or use Edit > Delete command.

Many thanks - I know it was simple, but in this case I was hesitant to press Delete in case the whole diagram disappeared!
