Is it possible to remove the border on images in reports?
I'm happy with it being there with my standard photos (head shot of each person etc) but I'm creating some timeline images and groups of pictures (eg cropped BMDs with transcription, or a collection of photos of a village, with related text, saving them as pictures and adding to the media list. The images (png files) don't have a border but it appears when added to a media report (as a standalone or included in a book).
They need some tweaking but are basically working as I want them, but I don't (ideally) want the border. Any suggestions or help welcomed.
Thanks,
Deirdre

Re: Images in reports
No, it is not possible within the FH Report/Book Options to remove image borders.
Would those timeline images and related text form a page of their own in the Book?
i.e. A mixture of images and text boxes rather like MS Word supports.
If so, then see how_to:report_content_multimedia_format_layout|> Report Content, Media, Format and Layout under Book Free Page Content that allows images to be inserted anywhere on the page with or without borders, and similarly text boxes inserted with or without borders. The text can be a mixture of simple text or FH Expressions to extract text from your Project database.

See here for more information on searching within FHUG, particularly read towards the bottom of the page where it talks about Google Site Search:
info:forums|> Forums Usage Tips
This enables the more comprehensive Google search engine to be used to search for items in the FHUG, and I always have much more success at finding things with this.

Re: Images in reports
Thanks Mike, took some playing as my first attempt had to be reduced to 75% when inserted into the book, so my matching text font size was very small.
Anyway, it's just what I wanted, thanks, the ability to create a page of various images and add text where I wanted them on the page.
