Query for 1939 Register

Post by marilyn57 » 04 Apr 2016 15:22

I am trying to do a query to list everyone, which tells me who I have got in the 1939 Register and who I havent. When I first added the new fact to my tree I did one as an event and the rest as attributes as I wasnt sure which it should be. The query seems to show the one person who I put in as an event but doesnt tell me any of those listed as attributes. Is there an easy way to do this or does it mean I have to redo them all as events. Hope you understand. Please can anyone help.

Thanks, Marilyn :? :?

Firstly, the most important advice is to use the standard Census Event for recording 1939 Register events.
There are many Reports, Queries, Plugins, and Ancestral Sources that rely on using the standard Census Event to support that 1939 Register, as discussed several times in these Forums.

It is best if you use a Fact Query with suitable Columns and Row filters.

The Change Any Fact Tag Plugin will alter any facts you have entered into standard Census Events or any other fact you prefer.
