text gets deleted from citation text

I'm using Family Historian 6.1.4
After editing the citation text in sources on the person screen, all the text got deleted.
Having gone to another person and gone back the problem is no longer there, it edits correctly.
Any ideas what may have gone wrong?

Do you mean that you made an entry in the "Text from Source:" box on the source pane that wasn't saved?

If so there is only one possibility I can see, i.e. if you type directly in the box the data you enter is preserved. However, if you fully open (double-click) on the box to get the pop-up panel for the easy entry/editing of more text then there ore two user options, 'OK' which saves the entry and 'Cancel' which clears the entry/any editing. Is it possible that you accidentally clicked on cancel?

There are two sets of "Text In Source" associated with a Citation, the citation on edited on the Source citation and the one against the Source it's self which is recorded on the Source Record.

I have not been able to lose the Text from source in either case, if you switch to another person and back again don't forget you might need to reselect the field you were entering the citation text against and the source to see it in the source window,

It was in the individual view, with the facts tab selected, with a death fact with a blue dot selected.
At the bottom of the individual view there are sources for (Death*) at the bottom of this view there is a Text From Source with some text already in the box.
I clicked on right hand icon to get the full view of text, then I changed a character from upper case to lower case, clicked on OK, and all the text had disappeared.
I copied this citation entry and pasted it a birth fact and the edit worked. Went back to the Death entry and it still got deleted, (all the text).
I then went to another person then, went to the original Death fact and it worked ok.
So there was already text in the edit box.
As for two 'two sets of "Text In Source" associated with a Citation' I don't understand.
Obviously a clich but unable to replicate it.
