Diagram statistics changed

I saved a diagram as a FH chart – size 3 x 3 pages. saved it separately as a PDF format on one page which I discarded later.

However, returning to the original saved FH chart - settings now show this as one page (no page boundaries show on screen) with a page size 2'7" x 1'10"although it is the same original saved file? Can I get back to my original setting? Thank you for help. (FH 5.0.9)

Are you saying that the Diagram > Diagram Statistics window says Pages = 1 (1x1), or does its say Pages = 9 (3x3) and you simply want to see the page boundaries?

If the latter, then click the Show Page Boundaries button in toolbar at top, or use Diagram > Boundaries > Show Page Boundaries.

If the former, then can you repeat the process and post screenshots of the Diagram Statistics window in the Diagram before saving, and the Diagram Statistics window in the FH Chart afterwards. Also confirm what commands you are using to save, and then view the chart.

I seem to have found the problem. Have just checked the print menu and find it is still showing Family Historian PDF as the type of printer. (Thought as it was saved as a FH Chart it would have kept the original settings). Once I switched back to the usual printer type the stats reverted back to 9 pages with page boundaries showing. Sorry not to have checked this before but many thanks for your quick response.

I don't think Print Setup is preserved anywhere.
I tried a similar exercise and the critical difference between the FH PDF and my HP Printer was the Minimum Margins Supported by Printer. The FH PDF allows 0.0" and the HP Printer needs 0.13" so needs more pages for the Diagram, but if I set my HP Printer to borderless mode it yields the same Diagram Statistics as FH PDF.
