I'm trying to record John Smith as the informant on the death of his wife Jane Smith. So, I went to 'Witnesses' and added him with the new role of 'informant'.
But the wording that appears in his facts doesn't make sense - 'was Death of Jane Smith'. The sentence at the bottom is Ok-ish ('he was a informant at death of....' etc).
I assume I haven't set something up properly but I can't see what, and I can't see how to change it. Couldn't find anything in the FHUG or in the FH Help.
I'm using 6.1.4. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks.

Re: Witness question
Use Tools > Fact Types and select Death from the list, then click Edit.
In the Fact Definition dialog click the Roles button to the right of the list of witness roles.
Select the Informant role and click Edit.
In the field labelled Past Tense enter ‘Informant at’ instead of ‘was’.
You can also improve the sentence template slightly, by changing it to something like
{individual} was the informant who registered the death of {principal} {date} {place}
Then click OK.
