1939 Register flag icon
How do I create, or adapt, an icon to add to a 1939 Register flag?
I have read the posts about Expressions but I already have icons to go with flags for all the other censuses.
Thanks

Re: 1939 Register flag icon
When I wanted an icon that didn't exist in the standard set I took copy of one of the standard ones and edited it with my photo editing program, Paint Shop Pro, although you could also use Microsoft Paint which come with Windows. By starting with a copy of an existing one it's easier then to keep the right size.
I can't remember now where FH keeps it's icon files, but someone will be along soon to answer this I'm sure. Maybe someone has already made a 1939 icon and will post a copy of the file.

Ah, this is where they are on Windows 7: C:\ProgramData\Calico Pie\Family Historian\Icons
I've just made a 1939 icon, but the forum won't let me load a bmp file here so I've put it in a zip file. Save the zip file to your PC, double click to open it, then just save the Census39.bmp file to your FH icons folder.

There are plenty of icon styles to use as a starting point in fhugdownloads:diagramicons|> Downloads and Links ~ Diagram Icons.

Perhaps you could add them to fhugdownloads:contents:wulliams_icons|> Diagram Icons ~ Wulliam's Icons.
Beware that the set already there, and the set you have just posted, have icons that are NOT in the other set. In other words one is not a superset of the other. So perhaps just add the latest set as an extra download in the existing KB page. If forgotten how to do it just let me know.
