Custom Attributes in Report
Posted: 14 Jan 2016 21:09
First off, I am using a customised Individual Summary report. I also have several custom attributes to record different names (Married name, Confirmation name, Birth name and Also known as).
These name attributes are included in the "Main Section Items" group and removed from the "Individual Events and Attributes" section.
The problem is that I have some people for whom I have more than one "Also known as" attribute, but I only see the first recorded "Also known as" entry, when I would like to include them all.
When I get the "Edit Item Details" dialog and add the Expression for the attribute I get the following:
%INDI._ATTR-ALSO_KNOWN_AS[1]% and I am assuming that it is the [1] part that brings back just the first entry.
I have tried the square brackets with no number "[]", the square brackets with 1+ (i.e. [1+]) and also taking out the square brackets all together - to no avail.
Either I'm obviously doing something wrong (which is not unreasonable in the slightest!) or it can't be done.
Does anyone have any ideas at all? I have tried searching the forum and the knowledge base so advanced apologies if this has been asked and answered before.
Many thanks in advance.
