Multimedia record

Post by JTempest » 24 Dec 2015 01:08

Hi again. I had linked a group photo successfully to the five individuals shown. However, I then realized that one of them uses their other name, so I changed all records (ie: Title, File etc.) but now I get "unable to load.." even though all records show the same. What have I still to do please?

If you have changed the name of the image file itself you will need to change the file path to match, as FH is looking for a different file name. There are several ways to do this. You can use Tools>External File links and select the media record from the list and use Edit, then click OK afterwards. Or you can change the name within the file path on the All tab of the media record or expand the record in the Records window and change it there.

The important point is that Media Filenames appear in two places:
(1) The File field of the FH Media record.
(2) The file Name in a folder in Windows/File Explorer.

If they are not both the same then you will get that error message.

So whenever you change (1) your must change the other (2) in synch.
