I have a lot of "double-barreled" names in my database, which is one of the only ways to tell one John from another John with the same last name, or tell Mary from Mary Ann.
Normally I would use a non-breaking space for this, but I can't seem to find how to do that in FH. Am I missing something or should this go on the wish list?
Thanks

See this topic: Double-barrelled first names (13058)
in which Mike says that a no-break space can be entered using Alt-0160.

Re: Non-breaking space to keep words together
Thanks everyone. I forgot to use double-barreled in my search of the KB, even though I used it in my post!

In v6.1 you can modify the characters which pop up on a hold down. For example you could add a no-break space to the space hold down pop-up (as I am currently running v6,1 I am assuming this facility is available in v6.0.x).
One simple way to do this, there are doubtless others, is to pick a note field, hold down the space click the small gear wheel on the right this opens the Configure Language and Accent Characters dialog choose the line starting (space) and Edit. When the Popup Accent list comes up select a point in the list and type alt+0160 (numeric keypad) to add the no-break space or do it via Character Map copy-paste.
Now holding down space and selecting from the pop-up (enter the number from the keyboard to avoid having to use the mouse) will enter a no-break space.
