When adding a couple into the tree, in the box which says wife/partner I would like the person to be marked partner rather than wife when this is appropriate. This mainly becomes a problem when running reports as often the husband or wife can get rather annoyed. How can I correct this?

Re: Partners
The technique needed varies depending on which type of Report you are talking about.
The most popular case where this situation arises in Narrative Reports where by default it says "X married Y". This is governed by the partnership Status near the bottom left of the Property Box. Set it to Unmarried Couple, or Nevel Married, or Unknown to obtain alternative wording.
Both the Individual Summary Report and Family Group Sheet show that Status value, but still use headings Marriage and Husband/Wife.
In Individual Summary Report use Options > Format > Heading > Marriage > Edit and change {default} to say Partnership.
In Family Group Sheet the only option appears to be to Save Report As > Word-processor Document (RTF) and change Husband and Wife to say Partner.
