mouse pointer problems
I use Family Historian V4. on Windows 7. On opening FH recently the blue circling icon began to vibrate. Eventually I had a vibrating mouse arrow. Sometimes it becomes a vibrating hourglass. It makes inputting data very difficult. This does not happen with any other program - just FH. I have tried the usual Windows repair stuff without success. Help!!!

Re: mouse pointer problems
Although it only happens with FH (possibly because of the features it uses) I suspect the problem lies with your input devices. Is your PC a laptop with touchpad? If so then that is probably where the fault lies, either with the hardware or drivers.

Thanks for your reply. I use a desktop pc with Logitech wireless mouse & keyboard. They work well. I did update my drivers recently, so perhaps the problem lies there.

Re: mouse pointer problems
It could be the drivers, but try the wireless dongle in a different USB port, make sure there is nothing left over from any previous mouse drivers, etc.

Have you considered changing Mouse battery? Weird stuff happens when batteries get low.
