How to Delete a Person?

Hi, I am fairly new to Family Historian so please forgive my ignorance. I am sure this must be straightforward but I can't seem to find any help for it so maybe I am phrasing the question incorrectly?
The scenario is that I have added an extra child, having been misled by the IGI, which showed two baptisms when there was only one baptism - the child's name had been recorded incorrectly and then amended and both names were transcribed as separate entries.
So, I just want to delete the extra child. This tree has only outline data, just names and dates and no sources or other details (those are recorded elsewhere, just not in this project) so surely this must be simple?
I have searched for 'delete' and 'delete a person' but without success. I did stumble across some detailed help for 'delete unwanted data' under 'split tree helper' but it seemed very involved and if that is where the answer lies then I don't understand it!
Thanks for any help.
Sue
