Hello,
I have a named list that I would like to use to create a separate project. How would I do this?

Re: Named List as Project
Start by making a copy of your entire project, using File > Project Window > More Tasks > Copy Project.
Then, working on the copy, use File > Split Tree Helper.
Select Delete all Individual records NOT found by the Individual query below .
In the Other Records section set each to Delete ... Records left with no links to them.
When you click Delete you will be prompted select your Named List. Then click OK.
This will leave the copy project with only the records in your Named List plus all linked records of other types.
Note that although any unused Multimedia Records will be deleted the unused media files themselves will still be in the copy project folder so you may want to delete them manually afterwards.
At this stage the Named List records will still be in the original project as well. If you want to remove them from the original project so that you have two projects with no records in common, you will need to use the Split Tree Helper again. Make another copy of the original project (in case of disaster!) and this time use the option to Delete all Individual records found by the Individual query below. For other record types use the same option as previously. This will delete the records in your named list, and any other records that are unused as a result.

Re: Named List as Project
To follow up on Lorna's point about unused Media files needing to be deleted, I suggest you try the Check for Unlinked Media Plugin, which offers a Delete Unlinked Media option, so you don't have find and delete them manually.
