Adding a Repository

I use AS to enter Censuses (plus all the other info that AS can handle) and set the Repository as 'The National Archives'. Over time, however, I have tended (occasionally) to forget to 'link' the Repository, and now find that I have a LOT of census Sources without Repositories. I have concocted a Query which lets me know which Sources do not have a Repository, but would like to know how I can add the said Repository to these Sources in one hit - there are a lot of them. (I do not know how to create Plugins which I think may be required.)
Also is it possible to set a default Repository for Censuses so that TNA will be automatically inserted?
Thanks
Roger

I don't think there is a quick way to do that, other than with a Plugin.
Assuming your Census Source records all have their Type set to Census, then I may find time to write the Plugin.
You cannot set a default Repository, but in AS Tools > Options > Census settings you can tick Warn if no repository so you won't forget to add one.

Please find the ATTACHMENT
Add Repository to Source Plugin v0.1 15 Oct 2015.
[ Attachment improved in
adding a repository to multiple sources (14663). ]
It is advisable to use
File > Backup/Restore > Small Backup before running
Plugin just in case
Select your desired
Repository record before running
Plugin, which assumes your
Census Source records all have their
Type: set to
Census, and will add the chosen
Repository to all that have no
Repository already.
To cancel all changes use
Undo > Plugin Updates after running
Plugin but
before closing FH.

Thanks for your prompt reply. I am, however, having the following problem with the plugin.
Going to the Repository Records and with NO selection, the response is 'Please select just one Repository record', and the plugin State is 'Running'.
When I select the specific Repository and hit Run, there is no response, apart from the plugin frame going blue. The plugin State does not show anything.
Any ideas?

Until you click OK in the "Please select just one Repository record" window the Plugin will be running.
With a selected Repository, the Plugin adds it to all appropriate Source records so fast that it appears not have run, but I think you will find all the Census Source records now have a Repository, providing that their Type: is set to Census.
Perhaps I should have given some feedback in the Plugin, sorry!

My apologies, Mike. I must admit that I did not check to see if anything had happened. It had!
All have been done.
Thank you.
