Please could anyone help, I have been unable to use my Family Historian Programme for quite a while and have been going round in circles trying to do what was the simplest thing.
I have just made a query for persons for whom I have obtained Army Records but cannot get into the screen which allows me to make and edit a flag for this query, dont know if anything has changed since I last used the programme. I have all the flags listed which I want but as I say cannot locate how to edit this.
Any help really appreciated, many thanks

Hi Marilyn,
To create a new flag, use Edit > Record Flags and then in the Record Flags box click New.
Then when you have run your query, in the Query window go to the menu (in V6 this is a gear-wheel icon - I can't remember what the icon is in V5 but it will be near the right hand end of the Query toolbar.) From the menu select Set Flag on Row Records. You will then be able to select your newly created flag.

Thanks for your help Lorna, I managed to do that but couldn`t get any further, I opened the name in a diagram once I had named the flag and found the the edit box to add a record flag to diagram. Took me ages to realise that, thanks again
