I would like to have the record ID/RIN shown against each name (heading) in a Family Group Sheet but I cannot find anything in Options to do this.
Does anyone know a way?

Re: Customising Family Group Sheet
In the Family Group Sheet report, click Options on the right hand side. On the Contents tab, Family Member Main Items (in order), scroll down the list to Record Id, double click on it, change setting to Show, it's the little up arrow just above that list, to move Record Id to the top of the list (or just under Name if you prefer), click Apply, then OK. Record Id then appears just above each main name.
Is that what you're looking for?

Thank you. I had found how to show it (on a separate line) but not realised it could be moved up/down the list.
But what I really wanted was the ID in square brackets after the name in Heading Level 2, as it is shown in the Focus Window.

Have a look at Adding Relationships to Reports (12583).
But in your case use the Options > Format tab to Edit the Family Member so the Heading Text is {default} [=RecordId()].
