When I 'Open Web Search Window' it tries to load FHUG but it has the wrong path in it
http://www.fhug.org.uk/cgi-bin/index.cgi so I get an error message (attached). I have bookmarked the correct address
http://www.fhug.org.uk, but I can't see the incorrect link to get rid of it.
Can anyone give me directions?

Use the Internet > Search the Internet command and click the More >> button at the bottom.
Then when you select any Bookmark use the Edit button top right to make changes, or the Delete button to remove.
Make sure the Location box contains the web URL required.

I have already tried that, but the only FHUG link is the bookmark I saved, I can't find the 'wrong' one on the list - see attached

It looks like you've set your Home Page to that false address in the internal Browser. At the top RH Side of the actual Browser Home Page (NOT the one in the Tool Bar) you'll see a Gear Wheel Click on that and then Settings then Home Page.

I am feeling really stupid - is this where you mean? if so then FHUG is not my home page in Chrome, it only appears when I go into Internet menu

It is NOT
Chrome that
FH uses for its internal browser but the
Internet Explorer shell.
So assuming that you have somehow changed the
IE Home page then:
Open
IE and click gear
Tools > Internet options and change the
Home page to whatever you prefer,
https://www.google.co.uk/ perhaps.

Irene,
No, in the Window where you see the error message, if you scroll to the top right-hand side using the arrows you should see a couple of icons including another gear wheel as below.

Hope that's a better guide.

Mervyn, that top bar only applies to the Bing home page and is nothing to do with the IE Home page.
That top bar does not appear in most web pages.

Thanks for trying to help Mervyn. Mike if it is any help I use Chrome as my browser.

You might Irene, but as I explained, FH does NOT, so you must change the Internet Explorer Home page to fix the problem, as I described.

Hi Mike
I changed the HOME page in IE and all working fine now. It never occurred to me to look in there as I haven't used it for years.
