Date Range for Births

Post by rodit » 30 Jul 2015 07:10

I am looking to track ancestors who served in WW1, but need to be able to filter those born within a year range (probably 1880 to 1900) so as to have a manageable list. (Also probably males only?)
I have looked through Custom Queries and Plugins but can't find what I am looking for. My skill with creating queries is also limited.
Can someone point me in the right direction, please.
Thanks in advance

Roger

Thanks Jane.

I managed to amend it to exclude those who died before, or after, the War.

You might want to include people who died after the war, don't forget you can search the pension records as well now.

Thanks Jane

I hadn't thought it through fully, obviously. My query would only have found those who did not survive.
I will look into the Pension suggestion, as well.
