In some of the previous packages I've used, there was a "Tasks List" feature. If a question arose while working on an individual record or adding data, I could log that question to be investigated when I next visit the relevant record office, church, etc.
The software would keep those, with priority, type of task, where it should be investigated, name(s) involved, media requred, and so on. I could then print out the task list (it came with spaces for answers) before going on my travels.
Now that I've switched to FH6, I've transferred the list to an Excel workbook. That has the same facilities, and is a workable solution but it does require switching between FH6 and Excel to "process" a question. I can sort the Excel list by Parish, by Record Office, by individual, by priority, and so on.
If nobody else is interested in the feature, then I'm happy to continue with Excel. It may be useful for others.

Have a look here for some ideas to create to do lists in FH:

Re: Tasks list
Did you check how_to:create_work_in_progress_or_research_to_do_lists|> Create Work In Progress or Research To Do Lists.
Unlike other products, FH sometimes offers general purpose tools that just need a little customisation, rather than a ready made solution.
So when looking for a Tasks List or a To Do List you won't find it, but the capabilities are still there.
The simple solution is the Named Lists approach.
The Custom Attributes approach is better, and there is a download to set it up.

Re: Tasks list
I fell at the first hurdle:
Back to the instruction manual...
Meanwhile, the Excel sheet is ready for next week's session at the Record Office.
My copy of FH6 hasn't got "Tools > Work with Fact Sets".Use Tools > Work with Fact Sets and click the New button:
Back to the instruction manual...

Re: Tasks list
Try Tools > Fact Types then click New.....
Screens look a bit different, (maybe the KB screens were captured in V5), but you should be able to work it out.

Re: Tasks list
Yes sorry, the KB needed updating for FH V6 (now corrected), but you don't need to go there, because as it says, just download the predefined component versions from fhugdownloads:contents:fact_set_to_do_lists|> Fact Set ~ To Do Lists.
