I have been experimenting with the new feature where you can drag, or copy and paste, a picture onto a specific Fact.
The first time I tried this was to add a picture of my grandparent's home to the Residence Fact for 1940. Unfortunately, when I create an Individual Summary Report for my grandfather's profile, this 1940 picture is sitting next to his 1893 Birth Fact, instead of by his 1940 Residence Fact.
Since this picture was attached to a 1940 Fact, I assumed that it would be positioned next to that 1940 Fact. Kind of defeats the purpose of using this feature if the media is not going to be positioned next to the Fact is depicts.
Is there anyway to force such pictures to stay next to the associated Fact in the ISR report format?

In short, No it is not possible to force such Media pictures to stay right next to the associated Fact.
The Report > Options > Pictures tab has options to position the broad groups of Media attached to the Individual, the Family, the Spouse, the Children, and to Facts (Other).
The usual solution is to give the Media a Caption that links it to its Fact and this technique is often used in various published books & magazines where pictures are quite often not next to the associated text.
The only other technique is to Save Report As > Word-Processor Document (RTF) and edit in a word-processor such as MS Word.

You may like to take a look at the 'Complete Genealogy Reporter' software. I find it much better at reporting.
