relationship column

Post by tel1749 » 05 Jun 2015 21:37

Hi For some reason the relation ship column is now empty, I don't recall pressing any buttons to clear it, as they are of great interest to me,
so I just gave my self a good slap on the wrist.

No doubt there is a very simple way to get it back but my brain has gone to jelly after spending quite some time on my research

Thanks in advance for ideas

I have moved this to the FH General Usage Forum, because it is not a User Group website topic.

You have probably accidentally cleared (or changed) your File Root person, and without that the relationships cannot be deduced.

To correct this, display the person you want to be your File Root in the Focus Window, then right-click their name and choose Make File Root.

Alternatively, select the person in the Records Window and use Edit > File Root > Set as File Root.
