I have been happily putting on Death certificate sources over the past few days or so, and just wondered if it was the norm not to have any source citations attached to the timeline facts? I've been adding the sources and citations to the facts (white background) and by mistake I noticed I also had a few citations attached to the timeline facts (Grey background) Wondering if I should delete them?
Many thanks in advance
Jane

Re: Timeline facts
There is nothing very special about Timeline Facts.
As a long time user of FH, you will be familiar with the Child Birth/Adoption Facts that were optionally displayed with a grey bullet in the Propery Box Facts tab of earlier versions of FH.
Those Birth/Adoption Facts actually exist in the Individual Record of the Child, NOT where they are displayed. So you usually open the Child's Property Box to add Source Citations to those Facts, but those Source Citations are also available when viewed via the Parent's Propery Box.
FH V6 Timeline Facts are just the same, but allow many more Facts to be optionally displayed in close relative's Property Boxes with the same grey bullet, but also now a grey background.
Those Facts actually exist in the relative's Individual Record or for Marriage/Divorce their Family Record. So usually Source Citations would be added via those other Property Boxes, but you can add them via the Timeline Fact too. Also if you delete Source Citations from Timeline Facts you are actually deleting them from the original Facts.
