I did a merge of a husband and a wife (2 merges). They were from different sources, but the same persons. Family 1 had a daughter and family 2 also (a different one). After the merge I have 1 husband record and 1 wife record, but they seem to be married twice and have 1 daughter from the first marriage and 1 from the second.
I assume something went wrong with the merge? But don't know what.
And, I have been searching and searching but don't know how to repair the situation.
All help is very welcome.
Thanks and regards, Joop

Re: Double persons after merge
Joop,
In addition to merging the individual records (which you have already done), you must also merge the two family records. If you go to the Records Window and select the Families tab, you can find the two families, select them, and then select Edit > Merge/Compare Records....
If you don't see the Families tab in the records window, go to Tools > Preferences and select Records Window and in the display options select Always show for Families.
