I recently upgraded to FH V6. The auto-complete does not work as efficiently as it did in an earlier version. In fields where it is enabled such as place or occupation, in the previous version the auto-enabler would suggest the most recent or most often used data. In V6 it appears that the suggestion is simply in alphabetical sequence. I have more than 315,000 individuals and probably more than 8,000 places in my file. Has anyone had a similar experience and/or a suggestion?

This change in behaviour was noticed during Beta testing.
(It was logged under Auto-complete on Places and presumed to be a bug.)

I am not aware of any subsequent changes, so I suggest you report your concerns to Calico Pie at support@family-historian.co.uk.
