One page PDF output

Post by Nick-V » 08 Apr 2015 09:45

In Family Tree Maker it is possible to export a chart to a one page PDF. In FH this only occurs when the output is relatively small otherwise it becomes a multi-page PDF. A multipage PDF makes navigating a chart more difficult and less pleasant to read. Perhaps FTM's PDF handler ir more capable that FH's or there are alternative solutions.

It depends on your zoom settings, font sizes and box spacing, the maximum size for an FH PDF is 120" x 120", so by making the zoom smaller you can get more onto a page. I presume you are using the Save As PDF option from the diagram menu and not trying to Print to PDF?
