Hi
I'm trying to configure the privacy options on the 'Individual Summary Report (for Web, CD or DVD)' so that when displayed on my website it displays 'media' for living (flagged) individuals, but does not show any facts. IE shows name and media only.
I thought the following privacy options would work, but the media is still excluded from the report:
Omit all reference to Individuals flagged 'Private' (CHECKED)
Show basic details only for Individuals when the flag is set to 'Living' (CHECKED)
Hide all pictures linked to private or 'basic-details-only' individuals (UNCHECKED)
I would expect the following logic from the above settings: Pictures for individuals that show only basic details (IE living) will not be hidden (because last setting is Unchecked)
Also, the media I want to show for the 'living' individuals is set to 'no exclusions'
What have I missed? Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Giles

Re: Privacy options to show media but no facts for Living
Yes, I can repeat that scenario, and it does seem to disagree with the settings.
I suggest you report it to Calico Pie at support@family-historian.co.uk
I have used the Family Historian Sample Project and set the Living flag on Ian Stephen MUNRO and his wife Charlotte CARRINGTON. Then the Media tab photos for both of them are excluded from the Website pages. The Individual Summary Report (for Web, CD or DVD) has default settings.

Response Calico Pie:
Referred me to Help File, stating that current behaviour is as designed:
Show basic details only for Individuals where this flag is set - Individuals with the specified record flag are not excluded, but all details about them apart from their name, and their relationship to others, are excluded. No pictures will be displayed for them in contexts which would be identifying (such as in a section about them). If you want to ensure that no pictures of them are displayed at all, in any context, you should also tick the "Hide all pictures..." option (see next). This option applies both to the person that the report is about, and to any other mentioned Individuals.
Hide all pictures linked to private or 'basic-details-only' Individuals - Has the effect that any pictures which have any links to flagged individuals (that is, flagged according to either or both of the two prior options), will not be displayed.
This option has no effect unless at least one of the previous 2 options is ticked.
