I'm pretty sure that this has been asked and answered before, but I can't find it. I have recently found that a spouse who I had linked to an ancestor was not correct, so wished to remove him.
Went to her Focus page, right clicked the chap and Delete Record. He disappeared but there is now a blank box in the Diagram next to the lady in question, in addition to a blank in the Focus window. It also shows <no spouse> in the Property Box.
What have I missed?

Re: Unwanted Spouse
You still have a family record, check you don't have any children or family information (e.g a marriage), or just unlink the Ancestor from the family record

Re: Unwanted Spouse
See how_to:removing_unwanted_relations|> Removing Unwanted Relations.
If there are no Children then in the Focus Window simply right-click the woman and chose Unlink Record then the unwanted Family Record will be automatically be deleted.

Re: Unwanted Spouse
Thanks guys. It was deleting the Family Record which solved it.
