Source Record Id

Post by SimPar » 07 Mar 2015 16:31

I would like to write a new report (outside of Family Historian) showing Source Titles and their accompanying Source Record Ids. Simple question, is the Source Record Id available as a field to show in a query? If so, what is it's reference - %SOUR.???%

Have a look at the standard query "Sources for Given Record", you could perhaps save that as a custom query then tailor it to suit.

Alternatively start with "Source Record - All" and customise that.

Thanks davidm, I've tried that, but couldn't find the record id. Probably me. So any pointers welcome.

I believe the reference is =RecordID()

Thanks Nick,

I've just had a quick look but couldn't work out how to use RecordID() in a query. I'll have better look later when I've got some free time. But it's good to hear it's available somewhere! Watching the European Athletics right now so can only respond/try things in between events.

Just add a column to the query by typing in a heading (e.g. Source ID) and expression =Recordid()
