We have now released a new version of FH (6.0.3) which we believe fixes the crashing problem reported in this thread. We can't be 100% certain because there may be more than one problem. But we have certainly found a very good candidate that is media-related, and can cause the program to crash in much the way that has been described in this thread. We recommend that everybody try out 6.0.3 (see http://www.family-historian.co.uk/downl ... ee-upgrade). Once you have upgraded to 6.0.3, if you previously disabled any features in case they were causing the problem, please re-enable them so that 6.0.3 gets a proper test. And if you get any more crashes, please let us know - by posting here, or to support@family-historian.co.uk, or both, with full details. Thank you.

I just installed FH 6.0.3, and spent about an hour adding media to events, and places, and people, adding face links, switching back to the focus window or records window, and generally doing the kinds of things that would previously, eventually, have got it to crash.

No problemo. I am cautiously optimistic.
