The marriage fact allows for a number of possible witness roles: bridesmaids, priests, rabbi's etc.
I can get a list of the names of all the bridesmaids (say) with {role=bridesmaid} but I want to modify the sentence to refer to all witnesses regardless of their specific role. Apart from listing all possible roles (role=bridesmaid, priest, rabbi, ......} is there an easy way to get a list of the names of all witnesses?
TIA ... John.
P.S. these forums rock !! Thanks to everyone for their assistance with my queries !

Re: Marriage fact: listing the names of all witnesses
It looks like the method you are using is the only way according to the Help in Template Codes for Role Codes.
When the dust settles on FH V6, try submitting a support E-mail to Family Historian.
Either leaving the parameter blank {role=} or using a wildcard {role=*} are possibilities.

Thanks Mike. I've found a "workaround" by limiting the role inclusions to just those I need, but I will forward your suggestion to Calicoe Pie when I get a bit of spare time.
