Subject line says it all
I want to include the Witness note in a Witness sentence however {note} picks up the fact note. Is there a format like {Witness.note} to differentiate the two notes?
Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere but my search in FHUG didn't pick up an answer to this question.
TIA ... John.

I found the following in FH Help:
"Example (narrative sentence for witness):
The witness's first name was {=GetFieldText(GetContextItem(WITNESS),"%~.NAME:GIVEN%"))}
The witness note is as follows: {=GetFieldText(GetContextItem(WITNESS_LINK),"%~.NOTE%"))}"
The first example works just fine (when you correct the parentheses imbalance), however the second example returns a null string even though there is text in the witness note.
Could this be a bug or am I missing something?
Thanks ... John.

There was a late change in FH V6 that altered Witness (and Place Record) NOTE data refs to use NOTE2 to be consistent with local Notes in all other scenarios.
Those Help errors will be forwarded to Calico Pie for correction.

Thanks Mike - Note2 with one less closing bracket did the trick.
