Fact for newspaper article

This topic has been partially discussed before. Often ancestors will appear in a newspaper article, perhaps in the report of a court case, but it could be any event. If the article is created as a Source what fact would be recommended for recording the individual's mention? In some cases it would be specific like a plaintiff, defendant, witness, or just the subject of the article.

That is a bit of an open ended question.

Obviously, if it is an announcement of a Birth, Christening, Engagement, Marriage, Death, etc, or an Obituary, then use a Standard Event.

Otherwise, I would suggest a catch-all custom News Report Attribute (or something similar) to cover Newspapers, Magazines, and maybe Radio & TV. The advantage of an Attribute is it has a Value and a matching {value} code for the Sentence Template. So the Value can be plaintiff, defendant, witness, subject, etc, and the sentence Template something like {individual} was recorded as the {value} in a news report {date} {place} {age}.

I use Mike's suggestion and use Newspaper article, unless they are convicted of something, but for the rest I have an attribute fact so I can put a type, eg "Won first prize" or "Fined for moving pigs without a licence", I then often do a custom sentence and note to detail the coverage.
